Elmhurst Energy Services increase expert portfolio to include Home Information Packs (HIPs)
Elmhurst Energy Services, specialist energy rating consultancy to the construction industry, is pleased to announce the launch of its HIP service.
The Elmhurst Energy HIP service is now available for new build dwellings in England and Wales. The HIP service accompanies Elmhurst's expert portfolio including; SAP Ratings, SBEM Calculations, Energy Performance Certificates, Pressure Tests and Thermographic Surveys.

Since April 2008, every new build dwelling in England and Wales marketed for sale or for rental, regardless of size, must have a HIP. A HIP collates valuable information to start the process of selling a dwelling and must be completed before marketing the dwelling. Information such as; a sale statement, local searches and evidence of title, which have the potential to save home buyers time and money are crucial elements of the HIP. In addition, the HIP includes an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) that contains advice on how to cut CO2 emissions and fuel bills.
