Pressure Testing

Pressure Testing is a simple and effective way to maximise your EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating and ensures you achieve a high quality build.

Pressure Tests identify air leakage paths using special equipment and can be a cost effective method of achieving compliance with Section 6 of the Building Regulations

Although Pressure Tests are not a mandatory requirement in Scotland there are many benefits in conducting a Pressure Test within your build project. Pressure Tests quite often uncover air leakage paths via skirting boards, loft hatches and bath panels.

Eliminating such air leakage paths can help a developer to determine whether the dwelling has been built to a high standard and also improves the overall energy efficiency - hence, a higher rating on the EPC for the dwelling and therefore, enhanced saleability.

We offer a UK wide Pressure Testing service, with dedicated team members who specialise solely in this particular field. Since 2006, our regular clients have radically improved their Pressure Test standards as a direct result of using our accurate service and expert recommendations.
